Mission

My name is Danny Boyle and I am the sole operator of Shire House Furniture. Long before I developed a passion for welding and woodworking, I have been captivated with the outdoors. I take the perspective of using a fallen tree to create something usable and beautiful as a privilege. Shire House Furniture Company is based on the idea that creating functional pieces of art from salvaged lumber and steel is redemptive work and should be done with high standards.

The name Shire House Furniture comes from a House in Chesapeake, VA where many of my friends called home at one time. The mission of that house was to leave a lasting impact on the community. Everyone who lived there was involved with local ministry and spent their lives pointing people towards who Jesus is. The mission of that house left a lasting impact on my life.
